What counts as a performance change or event?  Events are the fundamental output of the engine and are defined as a recent, statistically significant change in sales performance that is unique.  The Verix Automated Analytics Suite searches through all of your internal and external customer data using sophisticated time-series analysis tools to find changes in performance.  False positives due to noise, seasonality, or other expected behaviors are rejected using proprietary algorithms that adaptively select proper trend thresholds. Even then, it is not enough to merely locate statistically significant trend breaks in business data.  The result set must be culled of duplicates and cause must be distinguished from effect, again using advanced, dynamic statistical algorithms.
