Doron Aspitz - President & CEO

Doron Aspitz is a visionary and seasoned executive, with over 20 years of technical and business management experience, growing technology companies in dynamic markets. Doron, who specialized in building and expanding early-stage companies with customer-centric approach, brings the foresight and management savvy necessary to drive Verix to market leadership.

Mr. Aspitz was co-founder, chairman, and CEO of Blue Pumpkin Software, a leading workforce management solutions company. Blue Pumpkin received numerous industry accolades for transforming the way companies managed their employees as well as their customer experience. Call Center Magazine awarded Doron with their “Pioneer of the Year” award for his innovative industry contribution. Doron drove Blue Pumpkin with financial discipline achieving strong profitable growth during difficult times, leading to a successful acquisition by Witness Systems (NASDAQ: WITS) in 2005 for approximately $90 million. Prior to founding Blue Pumpkin Mr. Aspitz held global business and technical management positions including Manager of Product Strategy Development at Tandem Corp. and Product Line Manager at IBM. Doron Received a Masters in MIS and a B.Sc. in Economics and Statistics, both from the Tel Aviv University.

Amir Ashiri – Vice President, Products & Founder

With 20 years of experience in software development, focusing primarily in BI, data warehousing and data mining, Amir Ashiri delivers the right mix of technology and market know-how to drive Verix to its leading position.

Prior to founding Verix, Amir worked with PriceWaterhouseCoopers, managing some of the largest BI implementations. Amir holds a B.A. in Computer Science from the Hebrew University.

Eitan Cohen – COO, GM Israel

Eitan Cohen joined Verix in 2007 to oversee Israel operations. Prior to Verix, Eitan was COO of CareerHarmony, a fully owned subsidiary of Manpower Inc., specializing in web-based screening and assessment solutions for the eRecruitment market. Prior to that Eitan served as Managing Director of Blue Pumpkin Software Ltd. Israel, following 3 years at Blue Pumpkin Software, Inc. in Sunnyvale, CA where he performed various senior management roles in R&D, professional services and customer support. Eitan was one of the founders of the professional services organization of Nice Systems Inc. (NASDAQ: NICE) serving as the head of the technical services group in NA.

Eitan holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science and a BA in Psychology from Tel Aviv University.

Gidi Krupnik – CFO

Gidi Krupnik is a qualified Israeli CPA with over 10 years experience in financial positions in Israeli high-tech companies.  Gidi joins Verix from Informatica Israel where he served as CFO.  Prior to that, Gidi served for 4 years as VP Finance for Itemfield.  At Itemfield Gidi was part of the management team that lead the company from the start-up stage to a MM$ company that was later acquired by Informatica Corporation.  Gidi also worked for 3 years at ECI (Innowave Division) which was later acquired by Alvarion and at KPMG.

Gidi holds a BA in Accounting & Economics from Ben-Gurion University and an MBA from Bar-Ilan University where he majored in Corporate Finance.

Ran M. Bittmann – CTO

Ran M. Bittmann has over 20 years of experience in the software industry, the last ten as an executive. Prior to Verix Ran was VP R&D at MobileMax (TASE:MBMX) a provider of Unified Communication.  Ran led the R&D during its successful IPO on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.  Prior to that, Ran was VP Engineering and CTO of mSAFE a provider of Accounting solutions for mobile phones and VP Engineering at Allot Communications (NASDAQ: ALLT) a provider of intelligent IP service optimization solutions.  Ran was also part of the founding team of InfoGear Technologies (Acquired by Cisco Systems) a pioneer in Web Appliances and in Chipcom Ltd. (Acquired by 3Com) a Networking Equipment provider.

Ran holds a BA in Statistics and Computer Science and an M.A. in Statistics both from Bar Ilan University.

Ediz Ertekin – Vice President, Business Development

Ediz Ertekin is a seasoned sales executive.  Prior to joining Verix in 2005, Ediz gained experience in the Business Intelligence marketplace in his position as Vice President of Sales for Celequest (purchased by Cognos).  Ediz has a wide range of sales experiences including building European operations while at Informatica (NASDAQ: INFA) as well as pre-sales and product management roles at Informatica and Sybase.

Ediz holds an MBA in Finance from San Diego State University and a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from Istanbul Tech.

Miguel Nhuch – Vice President, Sales

Miguel Nhuch is a high-tech veteran with more than 20 years of sales experience at software companies.  Before joining Verix, Miguel was VP Sales & Business Development at Devicescape.  Prior to that, Miguel was VP of Global Sales & Channels at Nominum where he was responsible for driving the overall revenue of Nominum worldwide.  Miguel has also served as VP Global Business Development at Entrust Technologies, VP Business Development at Weblogic (now BEA Systems) and as VP of International and Business Development at Forte Software.

Miguel holds a BSc. in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering and Computer Science.

Guy Ernest – Vice President, R&D

Guy Ernest has more than 20 years experience in the development of complex software projects involving innovation, advanced algorithms and sophisticated technologies in a customer-driven environment.

Guy began his career in the Israeli Defense Forces where he served for several years as Department Manager in one of the elite R&D units.  After the army Guy served as VP R&D for several start-up companies in the fields of Personalization and Mobile.

Guy holds a BA in Mathematics & Psychology from the University of Tel Aviv.
